Haircuts & styling
A haircut is a conversation and a shape. We look at the hair, agree what you are keeping and what is going, then cut to that.
What happens
The cut that holds its shape for weeks.
Every haircut at the Castle starts the same way: a short look at your hair, how it falls and how you style it at home. The cut is built around that answer, not around a fixed number.
We finish the neck and the edges last, because that is the part you see every day and the part that grows out fastest. Styling product is applied at the chair so you can see what the finish actually looks like.
Before you come in
Preparation & aftercare
Arrive as you are
Two to three weeks of growth gives the barber the most to work with.
Say what you want to keep
Length, line and shape are decisions, not surprises.
Ask what to do at home
Your barber will explain what holds the result and what changes it.
Practical notes
- Hair is easier to cut at two to three weeks than at one.
- Tell us what you would like to keep, even if it is only the length.
- Say if you use a blow dryer, straighteners or product at home — it changes the shape.
